Talking Dictionaries from Micronesia

In July 2013, the Living Tongues Institute organized another language revitalization workshop for endangered language activists from around Micronesia focusing on technology and the creation of “Talking Dictionaries” for each of the languages represented.

These projects joined thousands of other bloggers to share their perspectives on the topic of Human Rights in Brazil, Niger, and Colombia.

Inuktitut singer Kelly Fraser says, "It’s hard to explain that I’m working to save the Inuit language... No matter what people say, no matter what we’re doing, a lot of our traditional culture goes away the more we learn about the other world...
