Rising Voices to Participate in One Day on Earth

The Rising Voices grantee community is very diverse, and this can be seen by the global regions represented, languages spoken, and topics written about. Some representatives from these grantee projects will participate in a citizen media event called One Day on Earth, where they will be able to showcase this diversity.

The One Day on Earth project seeks to unite people from all around the world to document life on the planet taking place on October 10, 2010. Those who send in a submission of a view of their community around them may “become part of a documentary film and experience that will represent a snapshot of humankind.

Let's meet some of the participants from the Rising Voices projects that have volunteered to participate in this project, and whose submissions will be featured on Rising Voices in a future post.
