Rising Voices is pleased to announce that our Blogging Positively Guide [1] is now available in the Swahili language thanks to the translation by Collins Oduor [2], who is part of our grantee project Repacted [3] in Nakuru, Kenya, with special assistance by Deogratis Simba [4] from the Global Voices in Swahili [5] project. This guide was created as part of our “Blogging Positively” [6] initiative that seeks to engage communities interested in the use of citizen media to have conversations about the issue of HIV/AIDS around the world.
The guide is available for download and used freely by organizations and individuals working in the field of HIV/AIDS education, prevention, and treatment. The guide is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License. [7]
With the Swahili version of the Blogging Positively Guide now available, the resource is now available in five languages.
