What We've Been Up To
Global Voices was rewarded with a satellite Internet broadband device [22], which will be used by Rising Voices, allowing us to take the Internet along with us, wherever we go, regardless of internet connection quality.
GV has also been organising meetups around the world [23] for local digital activists and organisers. Karachi [24] and Cairo [25] have happened, Phnom Penh, Kampala, Skopje, and Porto coming up soon.
