My name is Valita Mi'oux'sah (Mihusa) Stabler. I am a member of the UmoNhoN Nation. Our tribal lands are located in northeast Nebraska (central USA) along the banks of the Missouri River. I am a proud mother, inspiring artist and a dedicated cultural advocate constantly searching for the answers.
For the past decade, my endeavors have been geared towards the revitalization of traditional languages through the use of new media. I have traveled to the other side of the world to do so, but my current efforts are focused strictly on my own UmoNhoN language.
