Venezuela: Radio Reflejos

Radio Reflejos is the voice of the Fundación Reflejos de Venezuela, and our purpose is to educate and inform in humans values, and give to the LGBTI community a space to show that we are citizens as well. Our work is to construct a new paradigm based on visibility and new references. Macedonia: My Ordinary Roma Life

The overall goal is to positively promote the Roma ethnic group through usage of media tools as well to start on-line and public discussion on stereotypes and prejudice towards Roma community in the country and ways of overcoming them. The objective is to train 10 young Roma community members on the techniques of using media tools in positive promotion of the community and to compose video through photo's of ordinary day of 5 Roma families.

Sierra Leone: Disability Experience Sharing

Disability issues in Sierra Leone still faces a lot of challenges in all sectors of the society. This makes it difficult for PWDs to enhance self- aggrandizement both as individual and in groups. Even with setting up of a Commission on disabilities they still lack basic to enjoy their rights equally with others. This project aims to increase the access of PWDs to information and create a forum to discuss their issues with duty bearers.

India: Support for Displaced Indigenous Families

Main Activities are to advocacy for resettlement rights and compensation through Citizen media, through to conduct training for staff on Photography , Video documentary on Case studies , how families become homeless, food less, Shelter less, landless through this displacement, and to relay in Local Television Channels and Local News Papers, and to show in Responsible Ministers, Government officers ( who are responsible for Displacement Welfar

Hungary: Development of Local Stories in Budapest

Our website is called Jarokelo.hu; here Budapest (Hungary) citizens can report any problem with a photo to their local municipality (eg. potholes, broken street plates etc.). We would like to introduce a mobile application to the website to make the submission of the reports easier. In addition to this we would like to hold two workshops (one for journalists, one for citizen journalists/bloggers) to help the creation of local stories.

Spain: Options: Bank of Resources for Transformative Consumption

The online Bank of Resources wants to be a virtual space providing practical tools and a platform for exchange and empowerment on conscious consumption. Its main element will be a collaborative map of transformative initiatives around Spain. It will be developed with citizens previously trained and further improved by the online community. By visualizing the existing options and providing resources we aim to inspire and encourage change.

Indonesia: Empowering Village People Through Blogging

Kampung Jagad (Global Village) blog is citizen journalism media. There are more than 30 village blogs under (subdomain) of kampungjagad.org, and more than 100 registered user/accounts. Villagers used it to sound of their voices and interests. They also use it as an alternatif media to support sustainable development. This project is designed to train village people in managing blog and how to make its contents -news, images and videos.

Nigeria: Lifesavers Club of Ajegunle

The project aims to build a new culture of community service among young people living in Nigeria’s most popular slum, Ajegunle. We hope to show them a new way to give back and save lives by giving blood while showcasing their works using various social media tools and telling the world their story. It is hoped that this project will introduce these young people to the wondrous tools available to them to reach the world and tell their stories.

Croatia: IT inclusion of elderly people

Project aims at digital and social inclusion of elderly people in Rijeka, otherwise considered passive members of society. Participants will be educated in digital photography, journalism, video production, Internet and social networks, and apply gained skills in writing on-line reports about the town’s sights, cultural and historical heritage. At the end of the project, a multilingual guide of Rijeka, seen through their eyes, will be created.
