Peru: My Community Voices

The project will train Youth and Adults in digital content production of their own culture and as rural reporters. Within three days of training in Puno and continuous support through Internet, telephone and AM Radio for the production of documents, Audio and Video. It is intended that rural communities will be represented on the Internet, in their own language, while transmitting announcements and news between communities.

Benin: Internet Voice for Fishermen Student of Kinto

Our project aims to train students and teachers of lakeside villages to use the computer and internet. To get there, we will install a solar power plant with a capacity of 1000 watt to power the computer and two LED lamps in youth cultural center. A weekly program of 4 lessons for children and adults will be implemented. The computer will be equipped with the 2009 version of Microsoft Encarta Encyclopedia to help children to literature searches.

Pakistan: Pukar

The main focus of our project is to enhance the skills to use the social media (facebook, twitter,e-mail, digital library, etc) to tell and share their stories. In this way can raise their vice at local and global level.

Swaziland: Artists Go Public

This project will provide local artists with a platform to promote themselves, their work and their creative process to a greater local and international public. Artists will be given a camera and laptop for 3 weeks each to record their inspirations, creative processes, challenges, successes, and photos of artwork. They will be assisted in creating & managing a blog (and parent project website) and accounts with facebook, twitter, and pinterest.

Ecuador: Voces Diversas en Wambra Radio

Strengthen the exercise of communicating through the promotion of participation of several actors (women, young people, indigenous and rural population, and people with visual impairments) that have been historically excluded from the media in the proposal of Radio Wambra, Radio On Line as a space for community and citizen encounter on the internet, through a training for On Line radio production, podcast and blogs.

Philippines: BALSA Mindanao People's Media Lab

BALSA Mindanao (Bulig Alang Sa Mindanao/Help for Mindanao) is a citizen-led mobilization for disaster response and climate justice advocacy in Mindanao. The People's Media Lab will be a community-access new media training initiative for those in the frontlines of rebuilding and rehabilitation of typhoon-destroyed areas. The Philippines was ranked 4th most vulnerable country from climate change and extreme weather in 2012 (UN).

Malawi: The Evils of Child Marriage Awareness (ECMA)

Malawi has one of the highest child marriage prevalence rates in the world. According to UNFPA report in 2012 on average, one out of two girls will be married by their 18th birthday. Through Awareness campaigns by trainers, the project will capacitate the marginalized communities on child rights and child marriage issues, build a database of people's views on child marriage, and contribute towards enactmate of child bill in the Malawi Parliament

Mexico: Indian Documentary Laboratory Hñähñu

Workshops that will result in the production of 15 short films made by young people from the ethnic Hñähñu Mezquital Valley in Hidalgo (Mexico). A visual and creative experimentation that has as its theme the sexual and reproductive rights from the perspective of gender, providing tools for recording and editing video from a visual-anthropological methodology and the use of any camera. Creating a blog that hosts these videos.

Mexico: The Plum, Lyrics and Vocals in Resistance

Promoting reflection in their original language Mixteco, about local history, traditions, culture and identity as a people. Through a community journalism workshop is taught to make a note, chronic, reportage and photography, using local and global dissemination to Twitter, as a bridge for feedback from other community members and those at migrants north of the continent.
