Our project aims to train students and teachers of lakeside villages to use the computer and internet. To get there, we will install a solar power plant with a capacity of 1000 watt to power the computer and two LED lamps in youth cultural center. A weekly program of 4 lessons for children and adults will be implemented. The computer will be equipped with the 2009 version of Microsoft Encarta Encyclopedia to help children to literature searches.

Fishermen “Toffins” are authentic and legendary in their art and custom. Hidden filled wetlands they are poor, no access to electricity or drinking water. Their villages are increasingly threatened by the effects of global warming. Despite the requirement of the computer in the school curriculum from the CM1 Benin, the Kinto students have never had the experience of computers. Fishermen's children have the highest failure rate in Benin.
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
Twiter page and blog Kinto village will be created initially present information on training with computers and the internet. The level of students and how they are progressing in the use of the computer. Outside the training we will publish socioanthropological information of the village, the local culture, traditional beliefs, myths and printing of the village visitors of the fishing village.
What technologies and digital tools do you plan to use in the trainings?

Many tourists, birders and eco-tourisms visited the lakeside village of Kinto for stays ranging from one to three days. Every visitor wanted to contribute to advance the initiative of solidarity tourism by presenting it to other visitors. Visitors thus become potential project partners by providing a touch of credibility and brand trust. Our students will build relationships with students around the world primarily with internet correspondence.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
This network is for those who want to follow the development community will be created. Several experts from the education of children will also be invited to join our network and help us in our training program for children. Kinto had hitherto sixty visits. Future visitors of our project will have access to the internet and register on our Facebook or Twitter account directly from the village and invite their friends and contacts on internet.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
After this microgrant, our project will be a success if Rising Voice puts us in touch with former laureates who have similar projects and our volunteers who want to come and give a helping hand to our young organization. In addition, the presentation of our project to travelers worldwide solidarity can contribute to the promotion of the lakeside villages isolated from Benin and generate income for local people….
