Establishing a network of empowered active youth engaged in giving voice to the ”voiceless’ stories within their ethnically divided communities. The project will provide trainings on multimedia strategies with the aim to empower youth to become critical thinkers, art/media producers and citizens journalists. Skills such as storyboarding, online research, filming and editing will be used to create original stories, artwork and short movies.

The online platform such as a blog will be established and separated into for main areas:
• Reconciliation and Remembrance section: telling ”untold” stories about the recent past.
• Creative thinkers section: Creative writing.
• Right To Be Human Section: human rights issues.
• See it film it section: short documentary movie section.

Describe the connections that you or your organization have already established that will contribute to the success of the project.
Our organization has established contacts with trainters form the Media Centar in Sarajevo, then with few youth organizations from Sarajevo (Youth Initiative for Human Rights BH), Banja Luka (”cerebra”), Sanski Most (Center for Peace Building), and few international and national PR experts.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
It is planed to include around 15 participants on the basic educational program. After the basic program on of the task for the participants is to organize small seminars in there communities, so this project will use the peer to peer education method. With this method a larger population of youngsters will have the opportunity to get involved in this project. We except that in the end around 50 young peoples will be part of this project.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
We want to get hosted on to the website network, one computer for editing, camcorders, digital photo camera, sound recorders, access to grant makers to support our further activities regarding to this program.
