The central focus is the perception of the youth about their community. The stories take place from the looks of the youth of the community where they live. Using a camcorder and digital cameras depict the streets, places and people in your neighborhood creating the history and identity of the region. The most important impact will be a better understanding of yourself and reality, and deal with their own stories made possible by shooting. The Association Franco Rotelli, who has a history of struggle in the area of mental health, will host the project. We have institutional partnerships with universities, public and private schools, social movements, movements of psychiatric reform and the fight for the maintenance of human rights. From the initial group project we aim to build social multipliers that the very young new coordinate working groups in other neighborhoods with coordin.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
The project is intended to 15 young people aged 17 to 24 who are residents of the central districts of the city of Santos in Sao Paulo state. Urban look is concerned with education, so the individual may enroll to prove frequency of 75% in class at his school. The commitment to the project and often keeps young people in the group. We work with technical staff including psychologists.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
