The project is about disseminate to the Baracoa people the new possibilities and facilities for the creation of small businesses and guide the people about the procedures necessary to do so attending to the low entrepreneurial culture of the cuban people. Also, will be a way of publicity of the entrepreneurs that have not any media to give to know to the world their works and to link them with possible buyers and the local community in Baracoa.

We will work with entrepreneurs, unemployed, employed persons, self-employed, etc.
Unfortunately, in Cuba Internet access and web hosting is very limited, that is why our project is an alternative to present to the world these people and their daily work.
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
We will create a blog that will collect the personal experiences of the participants. They will talk through texts, photos and videos about their mechanisms of interaction with the community, how them began their business, their survival strategies, how them make their products and about their perspectives and needs to move forward with their projects. This project will give them publicity thus expanding their potential market.
What technologies and digital tools do you plan to use in the trainings?

I am a computer in a Community Television Channel, which has given me knowledge in the use of camcorders and digital cameras, editing, lighting and sound, as well as directing and producing programs. Those knowledges allowed me work in the audiovisual. In addition, I have the support of people with extensive knowledge journalistic, economic and business who will help me making forums, discussions, conferences, etc.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
Our project will have no less than 40 participants, but given the number of potential beneficiaries, it is likely that this number will be much higher.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
I consider with the microgrant funding that you provide me we can make our project successful, although we would like to exchange with people from other cities / countries about their experiences on the subject of my project.
