The project aiming to empower the local community journalists on the use of new informatics media technology for the delivering and development agendas and broadcasting.The journalists will be able to update their audiences at a larger scale.Local citizens need to be helped in rising their voices with well informed and trained journalists.

What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
The community journalists will be trained and skilled to make their voices heard all over the world like others on community issues such as:mass media education,journalists rights,human rights,women violence,protection and sustainability on the environment,education,gender equity and values related to new media technology facilities.And trained journalists will create a regional network so that they can be open to others trough journalism forum.

Describe the connections that you or your organization have already established that will contribute to the success of the project.
this project will be implemented in collaboration with OKAPI RADIO.it has well performed in DRCOngo and will help training our local community journalists.The training will be conducted in the local radio station building and trained journalists will in their turn train and initiate other recruited in the profession.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
Ten(10) local community journalists will be trained.Among them five(5) male and five(5) female.gender aspect has to be considered.They will all be trained on the use of these new media facilities of communication,on exchange and dissemination of information.
the training performances will be monitored and evaluated trough the creativity in their day to day updates and variety in delivering information.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
This project will need at least 2 computers connected to internet with 2 modems and two digital voice recorder.The actual radio station has one computer used only for music and not for other website information.if journalists are trained and equipped,information will be more benefit to the local community and global at large.

I am glad to see this post on yr web having information about my radio station bubandano Fm,as a journalist who started that station,i encourage with much emphacy the training of local journalists who are working in war areas in order to raise the community of Kalehe ,idjwi,masisi,goma ,bukavu ,rutshuru in drcongo and the western Rwanda,despite the current situation journalists are facing,the community is updated through Bubandano Fm.
Congratulations to your team ,to have remembered the local journalists ,this goes to the member of parliament,honnourable Sumari Balike Fernand for his effort of planting a good tree in minova that gives fruits for the benefit of the community.
