Bolivia: Recovering Millenarian Memory in Comics Using Smart Phones
The idea of the project is to work with youth indigenous people for recovery the millenarian history of our past, creating comics for an interactive interface developed for android smart phones. We want to make a place were youth people can transform legends, told by the ancient from the community's, to histories and comics in the way to contribute with creating content for tell our history.
Bolivia: El Hormigón Armado Digital
Poverty and discrimination are aggressive obstacles shoeshiners face against the respect of their dignity and rights. Hormigón Armado The Shoeshinners Newspaper gives them a voice through printed media exposing their dignified, legitimate and sacrificed contribution to the war on poverty. Amplifying ourselves digitally we could significantly increase our demand of respect and pro-active solidarity towards them from society and local authorities.
Bolivia: Pacha Chipa (Cosmos’ web)
I'd like to record (photo, video and sound) small groups of people that live near to the city (El Alto – An Andean City). They are cualified because they (older than sixty) live up to now, thanks to their native music. In other words, my ancestors keep our native culture thanks to the native music and they can teach us. I hope to accomplish these native groups share (through interactive communication) their reasons, characteristics, symbology.
Bolivia: Rising Sex Workers’ voices
We seek to empower female sex workers providing tools to tell their own stories and claims, in defense of our human and labor rights. Through training in the management of internet and digital photography, they would access to more information to defend their rights, also is expected to tell and illustrate their stories with digital videos and audios that will be uploaded on the web site and facebook page of ONAEM
Bolivia: Teenage Preganancy Prevention
Foster discussion forums at the Teenage Education Units in Riberalta to promote teenage pregnancy prevention through social networks and workshops like: Life Projects, Self-Esteem, Values, Reproductive Sexual Health, Family Planning, Contraceptive Methods, Sexual Rights, STDs/VIH Prevention.
Bolivia: Ser Diversos nos Hace Iguales
The main target is to make heard the voice of the youth which has been traditionally marginalized, like rural youngsters with different sexual orientation and gender identity, African descendants, disabled youth and others, by creating blogs and social networks platforms where they can share their needs and proposals to the decision makers and the whole society, to generate a equality movement and will try to influence public politics.
