Brazil: Theatre that Sensitizes, Media that Gives Voice
During 05 months will be held 03 theater’s workshops with workshops of photo and video to sensitize about 45 young residents of the neighborhood Cidade Tiradentes, to record and disseminate their reality and post on the blog of the Núcleo Teatral Filhos da Dita (filhosdadita.wordpress.com), public utility information with the young’s poetic and sensitivity and criticality of the theater, contributing to the promotion of youth leadership.
Brazil: The Speech Quilombola – River of Black Drum
This project aims to train and empower 20 young Maroons of the city of New Airão. These young people will be trained in the use of digitial video and use the Internet network to keep the videos on the network. The terinamento will also discuss cultural and social characteristics of this ethnic group, aiming to support the creation of digital videos.

How to start processes of community empowerment and sustainable territorial development with young people? This is the challenge that the multipliers that operate in the neighborhood of Lemon chose to devote since 2011. By training young people in citizen journalism will create a blog and video to discuss sustainable solutions for self-management of housing.
Brazil: Indian Communities in the Northeast
We want to help rescue part of the indigenous culture of the ancient peoples who lived in Brazil, specifically in the state of Rio Grande do Norte (RN) since before 1500. We intend to make instructional videos to record the sacred rituals and healing (native medicine), dances, indigenous crafts and stories in order to reintegrate the young indian generations which are losing contact with the habits of elderly indians.

The project “Community communicative” work based on the instructional design Educommunication. Workshop that through communication and textual production, Radio Voiceover, Human Rights and Educommunication the project aims to educate community youth to use media as a tool for dialogue and dissemination of local potential. As a result of these actions to create a Blog, a Web Radio and profiles on social networks (Twitter and Facebook).
Brazil: AfroAudiovisualSchool
The proposal presented here want to empower people of african descent, young and adults, in the development and dissemination of audiovisual publications. We also will create an “educommunicative” model for interventions in public spaces and to interchange our learning process to other networks already organized. This initiative is connected with a larger project of ethnic-racial education to promote black culture in Brazil.
Brazil: Building the Oral History of Brasilândia
Brasilândia, a slum in São Paulo, is known for it's extreme poverty and scarcity of resources. We want to develop an oral history and affective map of the neighborhood. A youth group will use the community's radio station and invite residents to talk about their lives. This will all be recorded on a blog and podcast and compiled into a digital book and shared with the community.
Brazil: This is our Place Film Festival
We at Pronesis Institute of Audiovisual and Social Change have been training low-income youth to produce socially and environmentally engaged documentaries. These short documentaries (5 in total) will be shown to the community in a local film festival that will also be open to other local films. All of the films talk about social and environmental problems of the second poorest region of the State of São Paulo, Brazil.
