It is also to help young people in and around Apewosika acquire and develop themselves in the area of skills acquisition in Information technology and prepare them for the world of work through training and capacity building

Describe the specific community with whom you will be working.
The community have schools for kids but they don't have access to books for research,computers and access to internet.There are other young people who are done with school and are ready to work but don't have IT and other skills to get them employed or start their own businesses.This project aims to provide access to online platform for students and skills training for young people
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
Through the creation of relevant digital content for home or classroom use. And in order to achieve that, this project will make that content easily accessible by all students either online via the Internet or offline through a Learning Centers in Apewosika. It will also provide training in IT skills and capacity building using various online platforms via internet or offline using videos
What technologies and digital tools do you plan to use in the trainings?

There is a partnership with AIESEC INTERNATIONAL(an international student volunteering organisation) that will provide students with backgrounds in IT,management,entrepreneurship,project management to help develop the content for the training and setting up of the computer research center at Apewosika. There will be other partnership with NGOs in the area of capacity building once the project gets started.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
Beneficiaries will be 250. It will include students in primary and secondary schools in Apewosika. It will also include young people in and around Apewosika who will be trained in IT and capacity building skills for the world of work and business.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
Training equipments like computers , mentor/s and translator/s and content development
