The YOUTH VOICES FOR CHANGE is a proposed platform that will be used to enagage peers actively and in partnership for change.Noting the crucial role modern technology plays,these mediums which is fast catching up will be exploited to communicate our cause and to drive home our demand including using it to share ideas and solutions to addressing community needs.this will virtually lead to open forum of engagement with active youth participation.
What locality or neighborhood will your project focus on?

With the emergency of modern technology currently research indicate a high none penetration of most youth in the proposed community though there are the existence of more youth groups and associations.this project therefore will provide a fertile grounds to use their leadership to appreciate the use of online resources to communicate their cause hoping it will have a long effect of them forming the habit of such exposure to willingly use them.
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
They will use this platforms to share their stories,concerns aspiration,contributions to development,efforts,drives,languages,hopes and aspiration,cultural identity ,local news ,groups works,social interventions,history,fund activities,profiles,festivals news, etc.
These groups in the end will be able to send and create their daily activities,events,share concerns,group profiles,assocaitions news,post question for comments by the public etc
What technologies and digital tools do you plan to use in the trainings?
Describe the connections that you or your organization have already established that will contribute to the success of the project.
We are a grassroots organization that works actively and in partnership with a range of youth/ indigenous groups over the year hoping to empower and project them positively for change.we have worked with them on a range of timely and sensitive community development needs.
We hope to use this platforms to consolidate and further help them address other pressing needs using the most timely and fasting catching mediums for addressing issues.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
We are planning of training 150 direct individuals/youth leaders,groups and 500 indirect individuals via a step down training expected to be monitored and facilitated by beneficiaries of the project.
We shall have a formal meetings with the participants to sustain their interest.
Developed communication materials to informed them.
Organizing brief meeting to disclosed the nature and benefit of the project

Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
We may need support in the area of materials and resources for training
Side coaching to drive home the project targets
If possible field visit and as well granting of regular Skype meeting to to share concerns with management etc
use of your library reference materials etc
