The objective of our project is to expand the voluntary KÉK-Sajó blog. The inhabitants of the disadvantaged villages in the vicinity of Miskolc will create the active participants and authors of the blog through photographs, photo series („circumscribed images”). At the same time web 2.0 tools (like Twitter) help to create the common content. We will set up a digital competency developing training and workshop for the participiants.

What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
In regard of local events, stories and happenings there can be comments from individual points of view and on the other hand processing the feedbacks given to the outer world's impacts on the community and giving solutions related to these effects. Also local stories – local legends; an outlook (other provinces’ similar problems, looking for best practices); portrays: introduction of talented people; presenting new digital tools/services.

The municipality of Sajóhídvég is our partner and authorized (gestor) organization in a project aiming integration. Institutions and municipalities of the 10 villages involved plus the few NGOs working in the area and some private individual willing to actively participate in social life. As a result of the project we would like to build up further partnerships with organizations and persons who are capable for cooperation and mutual presence.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
10 participants from each of the 10 settlements plus the mentors which means 110 men will be involved in total. We are going to visit the participants personally to draw them into the project but we also plan to propagate the idea and delivering the call in for the inhabitants by brochures and will promote the project via our blog and the related e-mails. We plan to keep contacts personally through the mentors, the blog and the Twitter group.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
