The communities we want to work with include Dalits (most marginalized people in India), Tribes and other backward castes; they are indigenous underprivileged people who live in the remote and secluded villages with much less resources of livelihood, no access to education and other facilities. The reason why, they are an under-represented community because they don't have access to the computer education and internet.

We are already working for promoting indigenous culture and local languages through our program called conversation between elderly and children on the culture. Also we have formed “Bal Panchayat” (Child groups) and they are being educated on the several issues eg environment, culture/arts/local language.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
We have planned tentatively 300-400 participants to train i.e. women, men, elderly, youths and children from marginalized communities.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
We are also engaging to mobilize resources from some local institutions/organizations/social circles/networks and individual Donners. Also we have a group of volunteers who can help us to execute the project particularly in library and computer training and organizing meetings.
