We plan to work with the refugees at Daadab camp and this would give the refugees platform to share their story as being that many refugees at Daadab came from Somalia which have civil war, we want to teach the refugees how to use twitter and face book to share their own stories as a way to share their experiences and make share their experiences with their country men back in Somalia as Daadab refugee camp is based in Kenya.

What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
The contents would include participants sharing their stories which would include their plights faced during the civil war in their country, challenges they faced on the way as they flee their country, challenges they face at the camp and advantages of living at the camp. They would create face book and twitter accounts and also use the camera to capture their stories and upload them in their face book account. We shall also have a blog.
What technologies and digital tools do you plan to use in the trainings?

We plan to partner with Ministry of immigration which is in-charge of refugees and also develop partnership with United Nation High Commission for Refugee.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
We plan to train 200 refugees and their would be encouraged to share their stories and connect with their fellow countrymen and the rest of the world. We will mobilize them from the camp and we will sustain their participation through providing them with the necessary equipments they need to implement the project.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
I would request that you support me with mentor ship including helping me develop partnerships with other organizations who do similar programs so that i can learn from them and share our experiences. This would add value to our proposed project. We also request to be provided with camera and five computers which the participants would use including internet connections.

this is very good proposal as we have seen the influx of refugees from somalia who have come to kenya because of the cilvil war, it will offer them a good opportunity to share their story, good work .
