Under representation of local women, especially in areas of deep-rooted poverty like Nyatike must be recognized through blogs to promote participation in women decision-making power in society.
Activities that will close the gaps are; Instituting dialogue through blogs around social sector priority, Improve and influence resource allocation and training women on the use of blogs to create awareness to wider community women issues spectrum.

The blog system shall be used as a site for sharing experience on the most pressing women needs and mechanisms for involvement in solution decision- making

To use technology to challenge poverty by;
-Building the capacity of poor,
-Improving their access to technical options and knowledge, and
-Working with them to influence social economic and institutional systems for innovation and the use of technology to challenge poverty.

Past three years, young women in the area have been encouraged to get participate in public- decision making forums, engage in farming and income-generating activities at the household level and capacity building trainings.The approach taken to initiate the Social Audit in the community will determine the eventual success of the process.Reaching out to the Executive branch in the District: Women want to be recognized.Blogs and website is valued
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
More than 4,000 women/youth are set to benefit.The project will use appreciative inquiry approach, to bring out the best that is, organize a small reward ceremony for those that have done well, while encourage those that have gaps in their service delivery, provide or organize exchange visits or cross-learning sessions – reward best performers through incentives/ rewards. Showcase and disseminate best practices through appropriate media channel.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
Create a website and host it for sustainability.Provide 5 digital cameras for photo trainings and documentation.Provide 1 projector for training.Establish women social resource center-library to promote dialogue and debates.

I like this.It is a true project for interior women communities as i have read over your project.It shows logical strategies for inclusion of women in the national development agendas in line with the vision 2030. This project is wonderful.I have worked in Nyatike in the district department of gender,women ,children and social services and really agree with you that this project can bridge the gap.It is high time women must be included in policy decisions making.Thank you Tracy.Keep it up!

This project or package for interior women is a good idea.If you have to use blogs and photography i think it will look realistic as you have mentioned.We can also help you make coverages during events if you so wish.But otherwise it is a good one for me and our organization.
