The project intends to connect ten indigenous/grassroot women groups in Kakamega County,who are engaged in different social-economic activities in order to learn from each group and hence come up with a Participatory Intergrated Community Development program which each group will be sharing through social media.The project will train and equip this vulnerable group of women on social media and videography.

The grassroot women will learn from each other on matters related to women descrimination,wife battering,the rights of women as stated in the Kenyan Constitution as wellas women and Climate Change mitigation and adaptation

Women in water and Natural Resources Conservation has is connected to Global Women Water Innitiative a program that brings together grassroot women in East Africa,to train them on WASH and its related technologies.We have been partnering with Bukoba Women Empowerement Association in Tanzania and looking for future partnership with grassroot women in Uganda.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
About 1000 women from Kenya will be trained and we intend to incorperate marginalised women groups from Tanzania,this will be done in accordance to the group constitution.
