Mauritania history generly is not written and not documented as well as required. the majority of this history is popular and oral with the old generation of more than 60 years old. this very important part of history with the original language terms are about to be wasted, especially in the historical old cities registred by UNESCO as human heritage. the project is about documenting (photo,audio,video) this history, and make it available online

Describe the specific community with whom you will be working.
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
Content will be photos from different unkown places showing the life and behaviors of the community, to protect and preserve the life style of local rural communities.
stories told by old people who are considered as witness and historical references (Audio + audio video) to preserve the original language terms and the popular meaningful stories which are from the local culture.

I have connection with youth from different region, also we have organized some activities about visiting the old experienced men in the country to hear from them about our past and their experiences our communities style life.
i have a good connections in the field of new media and social civil in Mauritania, also I am associated with photography and storytelling technics.

How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
Six young will be trained on the technic of recording.
and also about twitting, managing the digital and online content.
the main criteria will be the interest of the participants in the project itself and everyone has to express his ability to continue and keep working on the project. after we arrive to estabilish the base of the content its development will not be difficult, the most important things is about the beginning.
