Our project is to spread through citizen media, animations, stories, puppet plays and capsules made by childrens ñahñus (Otomi) about issues of gender inequality and addictions in communities of El Bothé and San Ildefonso the Amealco municipality in the state of Querétaro.

Describe the specific community with whom you will be working.
They are a group of 20 children s from 8 to 14 years, living in communities ñahñus (Otomi) are registered localities with higher poverty, high drug use in Mexico, regarding the use of technology have a computer center in their schools, but very few children s know how to use computers. It requires working with them to give voice to the views and ideas of children about the problems of their community and learn about the technology.
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
The aim is for children to learn and use a blog and social networks to share through videos, photos and audio poscasts their activities and become a source of information for the prevention of addiction and create equity between women and men also include your comments and experiences about the learning process.

Describe the connections that you or your organization have already established that will contribute to the success of the project.
The project will be supported by two organizations Nuestra Diversidad Creativa A.C. and Fotzi Ñahñu A.C. It also has links with the primary school principals of the towns, libraries and health houses. It has communication with the Municipal Council of Women and the DIF in the municipality of Amealco.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
Be trained 20 children from 8 to 14 years, to ensure their stay is has a workspace, would support for those children s who live away from the community and give them food because many of them do not eat during the day . It has the support and approval of the moms and dads.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
There is a space that is a toy library to give workshops will also have the support of an organization which has Otomi representation and confidence of the population in addition to the solidarity of the moms. For the organization of Nuestra Diversidad Creativa, A.C., will support and monitor the project.
