A structured participatory capacity strengthening workshop to enhance the capacity of the leadership of thirty women micro financial organizations on informed and heightened use of web 2.0 technologies, mobile phones and mobile applications to expand women’s access to financial services in Lagos.
Participants will create and maintain blogs; Twitter and Facebook pages to tell their stories, advocate for increased access to financial services.

In Nigeria, women form nearly 50% of a population that is under very heavy socio-economic pressures. Women's poverty in Nigeria is further heightened by limited or lack of access to information and information communication technologies.
To strengthen their capacity to use citizen media to tell their stories and advocate for their socio-economic rights, link them to global resources and partnerships
