This project is targeted towards training deafs in selected special secondary schools to use the internet to surf information, open emails and acess social networking egFacebook. I have comunication skill in american sign language(ASL) and so versed on the use of internet.I ‘ll be working with other resource persons and interpreters who will carry the participants along with good visual teaching aids and each participants practically involved.

What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
This project would arrest the stigma the local community has for deaf and dumb that they are destitute and hopeless,rather they would be viewed as integral part of the society contributing to nation building. Henceforth no longer are they seen as disable but impaired by hearing and speaking.

I have interpersonal skill in american sign language(ASL),having tutored deaf in primary,secondary and higher institution in religious studies. I have also worked with CC&P NIG. LTD on a number of project training head teachers on ICT in plateau state in collaboration with plateau state universal basic education board (PSUBEB).With the past track records of CC&P NIG LTD there's no cause for alarm regarding this project.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
There would be twenty-two(22) participants males and females selected from the state rehabilitation center.Invitation would be sent with data forms to the school.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
(1)Laptops for each of the participants
(2)modem and flash reader for each participants
