This project is focused on the rural farmers in akpabuyo Local Government Area of Cross river state, Nigeria.We will be engaging/training farmers to make use of their mobile phones to share knowledge and for dissemination of information such as; market opportunities/prices, grants, farming inputs etc.Special Google mail account will be created to send SMS across on government and private sector innovations for rural farmers to their mobile phones

What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
We welcome feedback in the form of comments, suggestions and testimonials of how such agricultural/market information has been of immense use to these rural farmers,through the use of the mobile phones/Google mail account interface provided, farmers will be able to do this. We will also get feed back from direct short message service, Blogs and facebook pages.

Our organization integrity youth alliance (I.Y.A) is already set to work with the Cross River state ministry of agriculture to visit the area and organize timely programmes and activities which will bring invaluable benefits to the members to enhance their efficiency and profitability in their agricultural activity.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
About 500 farmers will be trained on how to use social network media to share information especially share information about market situation, threat and knowledge sharing on the best practices and climate, government Agricultural loans and grants, fertilizers, seeds and other inputs.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
Other resources and support that rising voices can provide to ensure the success of this project are the provision of technical support and information such international market opportunities for farmers cultivating yams, cassava and oil palms, research informations on such crops and effective way of using social media such as facebook,you tube, twitter and others to share information
