Introducing the use of technology in engaging the victims and witnesses of violence such as: rape, domestic violence, abuse, sexual harassment and trafficking of women and young girls. this project involves the development and deployment of an Ushahidi-based user friendly ICT platform through which cases of violence against women can be reported by members of the public. general members of the public, specifically females, because there is no existing platform for females to anonymously report cases of violence against them or a loved one. using mobile phones to call, sending text messages, Email, Twitter, Facebook and other social media networks.
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
Messages from such incidents will automatically be converted and integrated on a map showing the time, area and hotpots where such incident happened. This will guide the police in quickly responding to cases such as rape and other forms of violence against women. These will in turn become stories to be reported in regular news bulletins on radio and TV.

We are presently in partnership with the Nigerian Police, the welfare unit of the Ministry of Women Affairs, Lagos State, Justice For All, CLEEN( Center for Law Enforcement Education) Foundation`
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
500 participants.
Participants will be sought from other gender-focused CSOs,market women, community policing members, grass roots community leaders,university students, secondary school students, survivors of domestic abuse and rape
