it is a project that hopes to speak out against drug and substance abuse among young people in our community. ear marking the disadvantages and negative effects of substances and illegal drugs. the project proposes the use of social media to learn and discuss and support addicts to a smart recovery through online forums and peer discussions.

Tudun Wada, Jos North L.G.A. The community consists of civil workers and traders with choked up infrastructures. They have little or misplaced interest to online activity. They have the highest number of addicts in the L.G.A. .
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
Our vision is to have an online community of young people who are addicted or affected by drugs.They need to be out of such situations through sharing with others so as to seek a way out. become part of the on-line conversation.They will be thought how to document and share their experiences and advocate for themselves on-line through the use of digital video, digital photography, mobile phones and blogs with hope of winning support for their dev

We have local schools who are willing to get a global exposure. Networking with others, e-learning and media involvement have remained the modest tools to bridge the gap that illiteracy and lack of exposure can offer. we will be working with the national drug law enforcement administration for technical resources and field work.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
we seek to train 100 young people on the use of social media to research, learn and share information to their peer and to tell their story to the wider world while encouraging others to do same.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
Rising voices will be expected to provide technical resources to help build the capacity of our staff and volunteers.
