The project intends to train trainees from vocational schools on how to market their products(like catering services, bead jewelries and home accessories e.t.c. ) online by training them on web design, blogging and other social network. They will also be trained on how to use the social network to share information on reproductive health issues e.g. Sexually Transmitted Infections, HIV e.t.c.

What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
It is expected that at the end of the training the trainees will have the capacity to sell their products online even to the international world. This will empower them socially, economically and their self worth also will be greatly enhanced. Also it is expected that their knowledge in reproductive health will be improved upon and this will impart on their health as well as their children. As the saying goes,”train a woman, train a nation”

we will be partnering with the three vocational institutions and the website designers. Our NGO will involved in training the trainees on reproductive health issues.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
The project will train 60 participants from the three established vocational institutes and they are expected to form an online creativity club where they will share information, they will also train others to ensure sustainability of the project.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
We will provide some teaching aids like our magnetic flip chart board for training these women. We will offer our professional expertise and also provide any other resource available as the need arises.
