The project will enable people especially qualified youth to make use of online social media networks like Twitter or facebook for expression of their views about their problems. They will be encouraged to use these links regularly. This will be done through developing the capacity of target community in district Mardan. Youth will especially be trained in workshops and training sessions.
What locality or neighborhood will your project focus on?

The target community of the project will be the inhabitants of the district Mardan. However preference will be given to youth, women and underprivileged. Target of the project will 8000 users of social media in first one year through social networking. This target will comprise people regardless of race, religion, age, gender, etc. How the above mentioned shall be encouraged more than others to participate.
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
Project will try to proliferate cross cultural relationships using social networking. This would ensure the participation of people of district Mardan to promote their culture, share their problems, finding solutions, analyzing best techniques, etc. Different groups shall be formed both in Twitter and Facebook and will then be then linked through a single group representing people of the whole district.
What technologies and digital tools do you plan to use in the trainings?

Our organization has been working for producing social linkages between the people especially towards promotion of English as foreign language and official language of the country. This has been done by launching a group by title “Talk English” via Facebook. Currently, we have 100 group members mostly youth.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
CDO has intended to train 500 qualified residents of district Mardan. These trained candidates will be responsible to train atleast 20 other of their areas and shall form their groups at their local level and the trained or any other responsible member of the group will proceed their contents to district groups.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
Technological support may be required in this project and shall be asked Rising Voices if not solved locally.
