The project will provide the peer learning opportunities to local youth and awareness about e-networking, capacity building training will be provided through regular classes at Jaffarabad about usage of internet facilities and raise their voices through connecting with social media like twitter and other social networks. The youngsters will be aware about importance of social media as well about international networks.

Balochistan is the richest province of Pakistan which land is full of natural resources. But it is most passive and neglected province of Pakistan since the people having limited opportunities in health, education, professional skills building and raising their voices at national and international stages. WDCO directly work with youth groups, at town level and they will receive education about connecting their selves with international networks.
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
Our aims to empower youth especial women who are willing to serve their energies in positive change as active citizen in our society as well as our goal is to build the capacities of man and women. We will use the local electronic and print media as tool as well as the social media will be preferred for this activity. After this intervention we will be able to find a peaceful, socially, economically equal and valuable society at grassroots level.
What technologies and digital tools do you plan to use in the trainings?

WDCO has formed Youth Alliance and Activism Development YAAD group at district Jaffarabad of Balochistan which comprises on 200 active youth members and providing social education and awareness to 46 selected villages of the district through conducting advocacy activities e.g. seminars, walks, youth debates and dialogues. YAAD group has also build strong coordination with district administration, govt. line departments and local communities.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
5000 participants (2000 young male and 2000 young female, 500 Professionals and 500 govt. officials) will be trained through this activity. The training sessions will be divided in two parts in a day and morning and evening classes will be started for all above mentioned participants. Before joining the training classes an oath/MoU will be taken from each candidates and it must be signed about their regularity and punctuality of participation.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
WDCO is working on youth empowerment in Balochistan as self supports and we are searching mutual partnership for active citizen’s voice and youth awareness, capacity building of youth at grass roots. WDCO has built strong linkages with Youth Parliament which is actively working all over in Pakistan. The youth Parliament Pakistan has shown its willingness for providing support for sustaining our aims to empower the youth at district level.
