Organization for Human Development- OHD will undertake a project called “Rising Her Voice” in South Sindh region which will be of one year duration. The project will be focused on providing trainings and awareness of women issues, gender discrimination, Violence, decision making and empowerment to the local working and non working women in South Sindh region Pakistan. It is expected that through the providing awareness, trainings and raise issues

What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
Project will carry out Trainings and Orientation program for the local women groups community level on their door step, lobbying and advocacy, community mobilization and strengthening, publicity materials and media raise all issues of women, gender equity, create a web blog for share women and girls issues and experience publically can get more ideas for resolving issues and provide awareness through the electronic and print media.
What technologies and digital tools do you plan to use in the trainings?

Although project involves local partner organizations in areas but the overall project management will be the sole responsibility of OHD.
OHD worked on violence against women issues & capacity building of elected local government women councilor in the south sindh region Pakistan with collaboration of national & international organization “Aurat Foundation” & Oxfam GB, behalf of previous experience OHD get sure expected outcomes of the projet.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
Our project will assist & empower 250-300 women in the target communities to take a measurably more active role in the women issues at local level as well as at the province level and greater involvement & efforts in south sindh region. More then 300 women will learn basic concepts of women rights, women will be able to educate & advocate their families, all the activities of the projects will be documented which might be helpful in future.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
Organization for Human Development- OHD will be completing the project successfully in approved budget / grant, if in the case of besides grant then further OHD will depend it resources on volunteer-ism overview of result achieved the project.

The project idea to raise the voices of women is important but going by your proposal it will important to start with a small group of bloggers who are empowered to raise their voices and use of the social media. To reach out to 200-300 women you may want to develop this to a training and awareness proposal. just a suggestion not to miss reaching the women who dearly need their voices heard.
