The project considers a 4-day free conferences in order to transfer capacities in digital online planning, production, financing and promotion.
In the mornings participants will attend a media projects workshop: DAY 1. Idea/Objectives, D2. Planning, D3. Budget & Fundraising and D4. Outreach.
In the afternoons will attend conferences by experts on the following topics: DAY 1. Blog, D2. Vlog, D3. Podcast and D4. Photoblog.

Describe the specific community with whom you will be working.
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
Content created will be addressing development issues such as environmental, cultural identity, development, best practices in local governmental management, agroecology and climate change in the region. The approach of the morning workshops dedicated to the development of a media project will promote this type of content development but the final decision will be of the participants. Preferably, videos and podcasts will be in Quechua language.

I have made a alliance with Living in Peru (http://www.livinginperu.com), a web dedicated to promoting stories from Peru in English.
I am in communication with Servindi (http://servindi.org), a web dedicated to promote indigenous media in Spanish.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
As the conferences will be free and promotion strategically planned, we expect to have at least 150 participants. A past event about Quechua writing for teachers gathered almost 500 participants, we are following that model as it has proven efficient. Participants can pay a fee in order to receive a certification and educational material. Evaluation consists on the implementation of a online media project, 4 best projects will receive awards.
