The project will increase awareness and improve access of at least 200 working children/ youth -at-risk in Metro Manila (Philippines) on child rights, child protection, climate change and basic education through the Alternative Learning System- eSkwela program. An Instructional Manager/ Peer Facilitator will facilitate discussion fora and other web and computer-based activities on child rights advocacy and on various issues that affect them.

Describe the specific community with whom you will be working.
Working children/ youth are increasing in Metro Manila. They come from very poor families, who cannot support children's education. They work on the streets selling flowers, newspapers, food and other things to passing motorists. Spending more time working and earning a living, these children/ youth do not have the capacity to recreate, learn and participate in activities towards their full development.
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
The project will create digital stories and participatory video on child rights, violence against children and climate change adaptation among others.

In addition to the partnership with the Department of Education- Bureau of Alternative Learning System, Lingap Pangkabataan is working with Multi-Media Arts students of De La Salle- College of St. Benilde and Ateneo de Manila University.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
The project will train at least 30 working children/ youth and other children-at-risk in the targeted community who will primarily participate in the development of advocacy materials.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
Lingap will seek partnership with other funding organizations and corporations to ensure continuity and project success. It will also continue partnership with universities for student volunteers majoring in Multi- Media Arts.
