We want to make 5 different videos of 5 different communities from our town (Gdynia). There will be children, people 50+, people with disabilities and other active people working for the whole community.
The videos will me made in a light, flashmob convention to reach as many people as possible. We want to show the grate role of local volunteers working for others as well to show people organization that can help them.

Every of 5 communities-organization is underrepresented online. Making the video will help them to understand how the videos in social media works. The volunteers will be the essential part of the project – they will appear in the videos, but also work on editing (with aproffessional help) i posting it online (knowing the “secrets” of twitter, youtube, facebook etc.)
Also they will meet each other and help each other to exist in the internet.
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
We want to create 5 videos, which we will spread through social media, we hope that also traditiona media will be interested in the phenomenon of our project.
The videos will tell the story of what is important to every volunteer and why is it so important. The character of the videos will be very positive and made in a flashmobe convection to get the attention of many people as possible. The subjects: children, 50+, people with disabilities.
What technologies and digital tools do you plan to use in the trainings?
Describe the connections that you or your organization have already established that will contribute to the success of the project.
We have met with other three organization CAS (people 50+), Centrum Integracja (people with disabilities), GCOP (centre of ngo's in our town). Now we are searching for one other organization who will be also a part of the project. We are a part of active citizens network in our region and plan to use the project for learing the social networ skills one from another.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
Shooting the video will require at least 10 people from every partner (=50 people), editing the video will engage at least 2 other people from every partner (=10 more people). 10 more will be trained how to use the social media (blogs, twitter etc). It's at least 70 people then. We will maintain the network to help each other (discussion groups, linked twitter accounts, open groups on Facebook etc).
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
Rising Voices can distribute our work (the videos) through it's channels and it's partners.
