Objective: social control of authorities Kartuzy Municipality. We want to achieve transparency in the activities of local authorities to ensure no corruption and effective public spending. Objectives will be fulfilled through access to public information and its publication in internet: official documents, our analysis and our recommendations to the authorities.

We made an agreement with several local newspapers and portals. It will be possible for them to publish our reports and analyzes. We have established the cooperation with a number of watchdog organizations operating in neighboring municipalities, as well as watchdog.org.pl group that promotes social guard activities in Poland. In this way we could participate in trainings on how to access public information and we can exchange our experience.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
We plan to train about 30 people with methods for obtaining public information, how to establish a dialogue with the public authorities and how to involve the authorities to solve the problems of the local community. We also expect that some of the trained persons will involve in our web project http://facebook.com/watchdog.kartuzy .
We will be aiming for local leaders and members of local association.
