What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
News about the daily living conditions of the rural areas grassroots girls.They will tell, document stories on differences and dispaities related
to girls and boys opportunities based on the traditional culture.Stories related to gender based violence.Vision :Contributing to the girls mindset change, the community change, the government policies on
the promotion of the girl in particular and integration in the
socio-economic development.
What technologies and digital tools do you plan to use in the trainings?
Describe the connections that you or your organization have already established that will contribute to the success of the project.
ADEPE has strong partnership with Firelight Foundation of California in USA
and Grassroot Girls Initaiatives (GGI/NIKE) of which mission is to
contribute to the development of adolescent girls through digital story
telling. This results in the behaviour and mindset of the community,
the country.
We work also with UN Women in the scope of empowering women through
socio econimic activities and human rights.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
10participants will be trained in story telling using media. ADEPE will
focus mainly on exhorting them to have ownership and accountability of
their actions.They will get the accompaniement kit to be used after the
project. They in their turn sensitize other girls and the community to
feel free and tell their stories. ADEPE and Funder will keep on
mobilisation of other funds and partners to support the programs.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
Apart from the microgrant funding, other resources and support are
available as human resource, materials and other facilities such means
transport, office.ADEPE has got srtong organisational capacity to
implement the project.
