The incedence of men raping and killing women is getting out of hand. it feels as if men have lost all sense of morality. this project is aimed at creating a webiste and conducting awareness campaings through rallys and cellphone apps for people to have their say against this scourge. We need to take a stand. This project seeks to provide women and men with a forum to speak about their experiences. let the world know that this is no longer isolat

What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
the initial stance will be to get the news out to the general public through social media that there is now a portal where all of this can be reported and create and awareness. thereafter to go on with programms to educate men and women of the consequences that rape carries

I have already registered a website www.menagainstrape.co.za and we are currently doing a very simple design. we are also attemting to get 1000 men to march for the campaing wearing pink tshirts to the government buidlings to institute severe punishments against rapists. I am currently in the process of registering on social media for set up a site for people to link up
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
i am aiming to empower as many people as i can. however being realisteic i will train 1000 people.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
this project will require resources to make it a reality such as : marketing materials, projectors, screens, generators, speakers, domain hosting, domain design and update,telephony, adsl, computers, printers, a vehcile to transport the equipment to rural areas.
