Pakistan: Connecting to the world of knowledge

New generation is key to change of the abusive culture to women in form of honour killing, forced and minor marriages, marital rape and domestic violence to disfigure a women body. Connecting the youth to social media will help to sensitize and educate them to know about the women rights as human rights.The proposed project is to bring about a behaviour change through youth advocacy on women rights to end the violence against women.

Argentina: Promoting economic inclusion through citizen media

Training on citizen media for economic disadvantage population working within the informal economy to link them with possible buyers and the local community in Rosario. The training will encourage them to promote their products, speak about their stories and realities, their survival experiences and their neighborhoods. All of this will be disseminated through a blog updated by the beneficiaries (through photos, videos, mapping, etc.)

Uganda: Abakyala Tweyogerer – The Single Mothers’ Voice

The project will teach single mothers how to use citizen media to document and share their personal family stories, and create a Facebook and twitter page where they will be shared online. Trainings will focus on using digital photography and social networks to share experiences and challenges faced by single mothers in Uganda. Stories and photos will be collected monthly through focus group discussions and posted on Facebook and twitter

Pakistan: Capacity-Building of youth about E-networking through Trainings

The project will provide the peer learning opportunities to local youth and awareness about e-networking, capacity building training will be provided through regular classes at Jaffarabad about usage of internet facilities and raise their voices through connecting with social media like twitter and other social networks. Poor and vulnerable communities are the primary victims for any Hazard related to Peace or Emergency time. This project will envisage the need of preparedness measures to combat the disaster situations and mitigating the rapid climate changes in peacetime. Local vulnerable communities will take up the responsibility to initiate key interventions.

THrough this training the students are enabled to proper mapping and help in emergency response system

Serbia: Europe for Citizens

The project consists of informing citizens about the benefits of non EU countries accession to the EU. Information will be available on the web site, social networks, blogs, and on YouTube through videos. It will also be an online quiz about knowing EU and EU values on the website where the best answers will be rewarded.Participants will become familiar with all the relevant information, participate in the quiz and active using all online tools.
