The project is about disseminate to the Baracoa people the new possibilities and facilities for the creation of small businesses and guide the people about the procedures necessary to do so attending to the low entrepreneurial culture of the cuban people. Also, will be a way of publicity of the entrepreneurs that have not any media to give to know to the world their works and to link them with possible buyers and the local community in Baracoa.

By training young people in citizen journalism will create a blog and video to discuss sustainable solutions for self-management of housing.

Brazil: Building the Oral History of Brasilândia

Brasilândia, a slum in São Paulo, is known for it's extreme poverty and scarcity of resources. We want to develop an oral history and affective map of the neighborhood. A youth group will use the community's radio station and invite residents to talk about their lives. This will all be recorded on a blog and podcast and compiled into a digital book and shared with the community.

South Africa: PhotoVoice – Child Security Project

PhotoVoice – a look at one community through its children’s eyes seeks to teach learners to use photography as a means of self-expression and advocacy.Learners will be taught to create own personalized PhotoVoice journals that provides a framework for documenting and practicing technical elements of photography, making decisions about who or what to photograph, and expressing personal thoughts, feelings, and stories about the images taken.

Uganda: Expririence Documentation for Victims of LRA

Hungary: Development of Local Stories in Budapest

Our website is called Jarokelo.hu; here Budapest (Hungary) citizens can report any problem with a photo to their local municipality (eg. potholes, broken street plates etc.). We would like to introduce a mobile application to the website to make the submission of the reports easier. In addition to this we would like to hold two workshops (one for journalists, one for citizen journalists/bloggers) to help the creation of local stories.

Israel: Project Harmony: Collaboration Through Service (CTS)

After a series of skill-building workshops teens will identify an issue in their community, design a service project and implement it collaboratively. Integral to CTS is a focus on generating shareable documentation (through multimedia citizen-mapping) in order to encourage dynamic sustainability of impact.
