Tanzania: Young Green Bloggers

Young Green Bloggers is the project designed to train youth members from Tanzania Youth Environmental Network (TAYEN) to use online and social media communication channels including facebook, twitter and YouTube. The project will train 20 youth from secondary schools and Universities on how to create and use social media to educate and increase awareness on climate change problem and environmental conservation to other youth in Tanzania.

Gambia: Promoting Environmental Sustainability through Media

The project aims to train community women how to capture the local environmental issues related threats, solutions, opportunities and how to feed the outputs back to the community via blog posts, online videos, photos, news articles with the objective of empowering local communities. While using the latest technology, it is proving that digital media can give a voice to a community and bring them to a common understanding about their problems.

Moldova: Together

…On December 14, 2012, the Vorniceni Village Council/NGO Terra1530, Republic of Moldova, approved a decision(nr. 8/16) concerning changing the destination of a land area for the purpose of arranging of a square, this constituting one of the objectives of the Socio-Economic Development Strategy of Vorniceni village. The problem of the protection and sustainable development of forests is inseparable from the problem of country's public health.
