Pakistan: Citizen Media in Fight Against HIV/AIDS: Making a Difference

It is the time that HIV prevention, care & support programs embrace citizen media strategy to multiply the impact by creating youth force at very grass-root level who can be able to significantly use different tools e.g. blogs, social networking sites, mobile phone, digital storytelling/video etc on a large scale with the objective of increasing awareness & decreasing stigma & discrimination, engaging community members & attracting new resources.

Albania: Youth Community E-Learning Project

The overall objective is that of enhancing education in the local territory of the city of Shkoder in the North of Albania through education and personal development of its young people. Students and young people will ‘knowledge workers’ for the world of work. all source learning activity and instructional strategy can easily be customized to incorporate and reflect the cultural preferences (such as native accents, sounds, images, etc.).

1994 in was a genocide against tutsi ,it is a major cause of orphans we have in our country ,and the economy of our country was destroyed by the genocide.therefore we wish to install computer laboratory and internet that will help the youth orphans of the genocide,who have involved in trafficking and prostitution . our project will access information on basic agriculture ,simple income generation activities and prevention traffics & prostitution

Zimbabwe: Youth Social Media Connection Zimbabwe

The project seeks to train youth led organisations in Zimbabwe on how to effectively use technology for their interventions on HIV/AIDS. Young people in Zimbabwe are now hanging out more on social media platforms and organisations need to have the capacity to formulate interventions targeting them in this form of media. At the end of the project youth organisations in Zimbabwe will be able to interact with young people more effectively

Pakistan: Capacity-Building of youth about E-networking through Trainings

The project will provide the peer learning opportunities to local youth and awareness about e-networking, capacity building training will be provided through regular classes at Jaffarabad about usage of internet facilities and raise their voices through connecting with social media like twitter and other social networks. The youngsters will be aware about importance of social media as well about international networks.

Cameroon: Community Voices for Change

Creating community voices for change (CVC) to train community members especially youth in the use of media tools (social network, blogs and phones) to raise public awareness about social and economic issues affecting them. Youth leaders will be trained using computer and internet facilities by media experts. Training will equip participants with skills to establish local network of support towards policy changes which consider youth opinions.
