Our project aims at training the youth in the field of high technology and strategies of communication on social networks and other means to create a network of people who record and take pictures of situations of citizenship
What locality or neighborhood will your project focus on?
Describe the specific community with whom you will be working.
The target group of this project is unconsious citizens who are not involved in political updates, civil society and social problems in addition to unfortunate citizens who are not used to this kind of projects. As the project is based on social meadia, youth are the specific population to work with. Still, we would like to promote social media among the oldest.
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
The participants in the trainings will prepare photos, videos, caricatures… that illustrate real situations of citizenship and will be posted on facebook, twitter, youtube in order to sensitize people how to become a good citizen.
What technologies and digital tools do you plan to use in the trainings?
Describe the connections that you or your organization have already established that will contribute to the success of the project.
we have already established strong relations with the Tunisian scouts, trainers on the strategies of communication on social networks, other associations and citizen journalists.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
The participants (from 20 to 25) will participate in trainings and then we will assess their products to be later posted on the different social networks.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
We expect you to provide us with trainings, experience and open a new horizons of international relations that are very helpful for us.
