the project titled “making economic policies benefit women and youths” will train and empower women and youths of agali sub counties lira district, n.uganda to engage, channel, influence, and advocate economic policies makers pay attention to the problems or issues regarding their economic plight; where policies designed should benefits the women and youth; economically and then access to social services through internet communications outlets.

What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
to have women and youths of agali,subcounty,lira district, northern uganda engaging, channeling, influencing, and advocating for better economic policies that can address their plight through internet services.
The media out lets; to be created shall be: websites, blogues created, face books, emails, creation and subscription to the online videos, connecting mobile phones to internet services, use of local radios etc.

Describe the connections that you or your organization have already established that will contribute to the success of the project.
nuen has links with, women’s net work working to fight the problems of women, youths economically and socially, umbrella and partners organizations i.e. ngo forums, partners network, and member of the grassroots organizations in the sub region like the women’s grougs, youth groups, mixed groups, sub counties local governments in the sub region.
The above networks shall be exploited to make the project successful.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
300, women,75 young people and 125 youths will be trained during project implementation and it is expected that their contributions towards the project shall be in-kind and cash contributions e.g. training venue, meals, organizing sitting arrangements, mobilization, cash.
Consultations shall be made, where the beneficiaries will be, identified, pre-project engagements made and their efforts towards project agreed and harmonized.
