The Project intends to promote the Voice of non state actors of poor women and Children in Uganda to face their citizen to demand service delivery and report shoddy work to relevant Authorities. Over 2,000,000 people will be targeted using FM Radios, Mobile Phones, Balk sms,Twitter and U tube and IEC Materials. From Five districts, People will be mobilized to ask their leaders about service delivery and be able to share reports on the performance

What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
Demands of service delivery, reporting shoddy work and sharing of reports on general local leaders performance in their Areas of jurisdiction. Sharing of mark price of their commodities, Human rights issues,like Gender based violence, education, health, water and sanitation, where Government leaders will be able to respond on the raised issues.
This will help to reduce Illiteracy among women, abuse of women and Children,promote service delivery
What technologies and digital tools do you plan to use in the trainings?
Describe the connections that you or your organization have already established that will contribute to the success of the project.
We have a weekly Radio program on Life FM where people present their concerns and other call in to express their inner felling, and on the penal we have journalist and local leaders respond on the raised questions. We have local grass root trained structures in Five Districts in Rwenzori region. We have trained School clubs and school teachers and school management who will be the first beneficiaries. We collaborate with District councilors .
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
Over 17600 will gate the training on how to sue SMS on their phones, how to use balk sms, u tube, twitter, and computer basic knowledge. and Others will raise their voices on the Radio talk shows, Mobile community radios, Interpretation of Posters, and other EIC Materials.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
At the end of the project Rising the Voice can participate in the project evaluation.
