This grant is specifically for Drug Users in Uganda who are among the most stigmatised, discriminated and vulnerable persons in Uganda. Actually Drug users are more invisible among the Key population groups. This Project if going to be implemented by UHRN which was found and led by current and former drug users. Our members are illiterate, have limited or no access to any form of online communications and about all they need to learn on ho
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
Documenting and publishing personal experiences on health and human right violations that drug users experience in Uganda, UHRN will encourage peer to peer learning and create a list serve, blogs, for drugs users who will be trained, and phone texting to improve on updates.

Our Outreach and Information dissemination among our networks, documenting of oral stories for drug users,Networking and Partnerships with other organizations has helped us to establish our plan that will contribute to the success of this project.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
UHRN will train 20 drug users for 4 days, who will also share what they have learn t with other drug users through our peer to peer information learning, communication via our list serve, blogs, phone messaging. And this will be done by the trained drug users to sustain their participation.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
Apart from micro grant funding Raising voices can also support UHRN with; Capacity building and technical support, monitoring and evaluation.
