Uganda: Youth Advocacy for Elderly Rights.
The project will work with Elderly persons, students and teachers in advocating for the rights of suffering old persons who are abused by younger generations because of social economic pressure and breakdown social fabric which acted as security. In the different schools there will be a group of students and teachers to collect and disseminate information through blog and social sites.

Describe the specific community with whom you will be working.
We will be working with old person. Using young people to interact with Old person and share their life ordeal and Students will develop messages with elderly perosn and pass them over online.Thus ground to advocate for grands whose voices are rarely heard during abuse.
What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
True Case studies of Elderly abuse, Poems, Good practices of Aging

Opportunity to fend for the Elderly(Offer Uganda) has partnerships with 5(five) Secondary schools ,where it has been doing advocacy with youth and teachers in schools and visiting elderly person in the communities around them.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
250 participants will be identified in schools and will will be trained how to upload their poems,blogs and stories which advocate for elderly rights
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
To always avail an open door to further the rising voices project skills and practices for a multiplier effects in all communities.
