The project is aimed at facilitating the creation of the Crimean socially oriented media content with focus on issues that affect the daily life of the Crimean population.
The project will promote the thesis that ordinary people can be journalists for their communities. It will include a series of actions that will allow to attract local population to the collection, creation and dissemination of information of public interest.

What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
The project will include conducting seminars in six different cities of the Crimea on the creation and maintenance of blogs (photos, video, audio).The project also planned to organize the competition among Crimean NGOs and civic journalists for the best blog about the problems of the local communities of the Crimea.Winners will be able to short-term training in the Crimean Internet newspaper “Arguments week – Crimea” and create their own material

This project meets the needs of the local communities of the Crimea, who expressed their and discussed during various activities. Proof of this is the willingness of local communities Crimea, primarily local regional NGOs to participate actively in the project implementation process and encourage the involvement of the public in the Crimean distribution of socially important information.
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
The direct beneficiaries of the project are 140 representatives of NGOs, journalism students, civic and professional journalists from AR Crimea. The indirect beneficiaries are other NGOs, journalism students, civic and professional journalists different governmental and non-governmental structures with which NGOs are working.
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
Organization has an office, is able to use the necessary equipment for the current activity (three computers, copier, multimedia projector, etc.). For implementation of the project will also be used:digital video camera;digital photo camera;digital Voice Recorder;
PC (laptop) for field sessions.
