The project seeks to train youth led organisations in Zimbabwe on how to effectively use technology for their interventions on HIV/AIDS. Young people in Zimbabwe are now hanging out more on social media platforms and organisations need to have the capacity to formulate interventions targeting them in this form of media. At the end of the project youth organisations in Zimbabwe will be able to interact with young people more effectively

What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
Youth organisations will be able to create content which is both socially stimulating and informational as well for their constituencies. Youth organisations will be able to set up and sustain blogs and other social media presence where they will post their work and other interesting content for viewing by their constituencies.
What technologies and digital tools do you plan to use in the trainings?
Describe the connections that you or your organization have already established that will contribute to the success of the project.
Our organisation has already held trainings for youth organisations in other areas were they lacked capacity and this has helped establish us in improving youth led interventions in HIV/AIDS. For this project it will thus be able to utilise all our connections to effect change
How many participants do you think will be involved in your project?
We are looking at training 20 participants. Many organisations have expressed a desire to have their capacity in social media built and so they will be willing and eager participants. After the project we will still continue to provide advice and support to the organisations as they do their work
Besides the microgrant funding, what other resources and support are you seeking for your project to ensure its success?
Rising Voices can provide us with technical advice on some of the content and content delivery systems in line with modern trends. Rising Voices can also provide other technical advice on how to make the project effective and also provide resources on how best we can conduct the project
