This project aims at giving youth living with HIV the opportunity to share their experience, life styles and how they think they might have acquired the infection and how they are dealing with the social changes in terms of relationships. This will give the readers and listeners opportunity to learn from experiences of others, reduce stigma associated with HIV/AIDS and offer healing from bitterness that those already infected may harbor against those they suspect might have infected them. The program will be an interactive social media and radio based targeting youth in rural areas of Nyanza

The project will work with youth living with HIV/AIDS to give them a voice and a platform to talk about their tribulations joys and aspirations as a well as shere changes in their life styles and relationships since they are already marginalised as youth and living with HIV/AIDS is further confounding this innitiative will give other youth the opportunity to learn of realities of living with HIV/AIDS and accept pre-disposiposing behavior change. The youth mainly use mobile phone as mode of comunication and majority are on social media like twitter and facebook. The youth played a role in deciding and designing this innitiative

Larcord has a network of youth groups and hospitals that are providing care and treatment services to youth living with HIV/AIDS. in the past larcord has implemented related programs where youths have been the sole beneficaries. Organising sporting activities that raise resources used to aquire chemicals for treating community water points to encourage partcipation of youth in development. in Rachuonyo district. Connections with relevant governent ministries has been key to giving youth needed attention from policy makers.
How many participants do you think will be trained in your project?
The project aims at training 200 partcipants 150 of who are living with HIV and the other fifty have either family member or close friend living with HIV/AIDS or is somehow involved in one way or another with a youth living with HIV/AIDS. The organisation will sustain partcipation by engaging in more areas of interest with the youth such as economic epowerment and continous education on matters of health and development with an inter paersonal relationships
Describe which technologies, tools, and media you will focus on when training participants.
The project will employ use of social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube among others to share stories and experiences online. hand held flip camera to collect video stories and mobile phones to take pictures, that will be used to put together blog stories. Paul who is a It expert will use his expertise to take good pictures and train other in doing the same while Hellen will help put the stories into context. Felix will provide health talks that will be broadcast to millions of youth around the world on you tube
Describe the facilities where you will hold the workshops.
The project will mainly use community resources such as halls and computers to achieve this. The county government has established It centers for the youth this will be exploited by the organization to cut costs related to internet and computers. the vilaages have social hall that also act as community IT centers though sall fees are charged thay are manageable
What is your current relationship with the community with whom you plan to work? What makes you the most appropriate individual or organization to implement this project?
Larcod has a long history with the rural comunities of south Nyanza it has in the past implemented innitiatives that have brought development to the rural societies. currently Larcod operates a children educational innitiative supported by the youth activities that is long term in nature this project will strengthen the ties between the oraganization,Youth and community
What specific challenges do you expect to face when planning and implementing your project?
there are bound to be challenges while planning and implementing innitiative these include:- inadequate resources to encourage wide consulation
in ability of some youths to access internet
Iliteracy among some youth and negative publicity on youth and internet
invloved youth have already volunteered their time and resources to reachout to fellow youth who have no access to internet encourage youth to acquire cheap internet enabled mobile phones. about negative publicity on youth and inetrnet this innitiative will be a proof that internet can be a source of development spearedheaded by the youth in the community

June 15th youths converge for briefing on the award
